New In

Recently I got a new Chanel nailpolish. I couldn`t decide, which colour would be nice for summer and also looked for some pastel colours.

But as I saw this one, I couldn`t resist. It was just to gorgeous. It looks just amazing, just like black pearls from the South Seas.
I can`t wait to try it out and I think, that this colour is also very wearable for other seasons, but will look stunning after beeing tanned. It´s gonna be great for warm summer nights, when going out and I think that I`ll really enjoy this one.

topcoat? basecoat? or both?

I normally use a basecoat, as well as a topcoat.

Since my nails are a little bit weak and like to chip very often, I always use a basecoat, which hardens my nails and makes them stronger. Currently I`m using the one from Essie and I`m quite happy with it. It really hardens your nails and mine aren`t as soft anymore, as they have been.

For a topcoat I currently switch between the Chanel mat topcoat and the one from Essie.
It always depends, how I want the colour to look: very shiny or mat.

In my view, the Essie nailpolishes have really great quality for their price. They give a nice finish and they have some amazing colours. Further, they`re very longlasting, which I like, because I don`t want to do my nails every day.

The Chanel ones also have really unique colours and I have sticked to this brand for very long.
The only con is, that they are more of a one day nailpolish,  because they chip much  faster.
But I`m really into some of their signature colours (Rouge noir for example) and decided to overlook the fact, that they chip that fast.

My favourite summer nailpolishes part 2

 from left to right:

Essie-Mint Apple Candy

Well now here`s part 2 of my favourite summer nailpolishes.

These are almost only blue tones, which always remember me of the blue ocean, sand bays, enjoying great time and sipping cocktails somewhere at the seaside.

The left one is the only not blue toned colour. Put on, it`s a very interesting colour: It`s sort of nude with a very, very light lilac shimmer and perfect, if you want some colour, but not too much.

Now I`m wearing Lapiz of Luxury on my toes and it`s a very nice colour to pair it with white summer dresses or shorts and a simple shirt. I also like to pair this colour with my gold strappy sandals.

My favourite summer nailpolishes part 1

Well here are my favourite summer nailpolishes. For this season of the year I really love nice peachy, coral and bright red colours.
Sometimes i also go for a more nude-pink colour, such as the Chanel one on the right.

The thirst three colours are more red, going from a rather dark very vamp like colour to a really coral and light one.

Then the other three nailpolishes are peachy coraly toned, which also looks great, when you`re tanned.

And finally the last one is a more nude, milky pink with small shimmer paricles in it. I like to go for it, if I need something more neutral.

For summer I just love such bright colours! They make me really happy and are just perfect for this season!

My favourite summer blushes

MAC:Melba/Chanel:Blush d`Horizon/Nars:Orgasm/Dior:Rosy Glow
As I love summer,I decided to do a summer favourites series. I´m gonna start with my favourite blushes.

For summer I love more peachy and rather light pink tones, as for winter and autumn I prefer more nudes and reds.

MAC-Melba

I really love this colour, not only for summer, but also during spring it`s one of my must-haves. It`s a nice peachy colour with a subtle pink undertone and it is perfect for every day wear. It gives your face a very natural look.

Chanel-Blush d`Horizon
This is one from Chanel`s limited spring edition. It`s also a nice peach tone, which is very buildable, especially with the pink and white stripes in it you can go pretty much from a more lighter version to a even much more darker one.

Nars-Orgasm
This one actually is my favourite blush for summer. The colour is amazing. It`s a peach colour with rather small gold particles in it. Further it gives your face a really nice and healthy glow, which I love.

Dior-Rosy Glow
Now that blush is the only pink one in my summer favourites. In the pan it almost looks like a bubble gum pink, but put on, it has a nice and subtle pink and also is very buildable. You can go from a hint of colour to a really bright pink.

Summed up, I have finally found my favourite blushes for summer, which are mostly peachy toned, but they also look amazing when you`re already tanned.
