Coats,coats,coats....

Now it's just perfect to snuggle up in such a colourful coat and enjoy the rest of the winter.
Well these make even more fun, than yust a plain navyblue, black or grey coat....and the best inspirations are the ones from Gossip Girl, concerning the colours, especially the ones from Blair Waldorf.
Dufflecoats or also trenchcoats in plain colours can also be combined very well with colourful tights, if you're not that experimental....
But all these nice and fun colours cheer me up during the cold wintertime ;)

Review # 2 : Clarins Huile Lotus

As this oil for your face came out in Austria about November or the end of October ( I don't know the actual month anymore...) I just had to try it out.
It is sold for 3 skintypes and I got the one for oily skin, because it should regulate your skin, red spots should go away and it should calm it down.
Because it is an oil, it gives your skin much more moisture. It's much more rich, than a normal face moisturizer and perfect for winter to keep your skin soft, when it's freezing outside and dry inside.
It is only made out of organic oils as: rosmarin, hazlenut oil, geranium and lotus. The smell is just amazing, I love it ;)

As I bought it, the saleslady told me to use one drop and put it on my hands, warm it a little bit up and then press my hands for a few seconds on to my face. After that I can apply my daily moisturizer or just leave it that way. I always use 2 drops a day and sometimes, well it depends, how dry my skin is, my face cream form Biotherm (Aquasource; Iuse it already for years) over it. It controls my skin very well, my red spots went away and my skin got much more softer and the smell of the essential oils, which are included is first of all amazing and also calms me down in the evening.

FOTD # 1 : No Drought dry shampoo by Lush

This is my favourite of the day, because it's just for such days, where you haven't got any time to wash your hair and already are in a rush.
A few weeks ago I went to the Lush store and discovered this shampoo, I already was looking a long time for a good dry shampoo, which doesn't look strange and it shouldn't leave any gey colour in your hair. (Many dry shampoos do this -.-)

But this one is really nice, it comes in a normal shampoo bottle, has a great scent and gives your hair a nice finish. It's not more as shiny as before, but that is the way a dry shampoo works. It smells like grapefruites, limes and lemons, which is a lovely and really fresh scent.

Since it comes in a normal shampoo bottle, you can't spray it, which might be a minus point.
You just have to put it on your head with your hands or directly from the bottle or you even can take a powder brush and sort of brush it into your sculp. Then you rub it in just as a normal shampoo and maybe brush your hair after, if neccessary.
Then you're finished!

Glossybox January 2012

Yesterday, I received my Glossybox for January. This time it's not red, but PINK, just right for Valentine's day, which is coming up soon.

This month, there also were some really nice products included:

1, High Impact Mascara by Clinique (size: 3,5 ml)
I actually don't really like the Clinique products very much, because they don't really work with my skin, but I decided to try out the mascara and let's see. I also is a really nice size for travelling....

2, Lip Balm by Janssen Cosmeceutal (Fullsize)
I've never heard of this brand, but I always like to try out new lip products, especially lip butters and lip balms. The packaging is quite similar to the lip balm from Kiehl's and I really excited to try it out for the first time.

3, Elixir Ultime by Kerastase (size: 50ml)
I'm really happy for having received this product, because I already wanted to purchase the fullsize.
This way I can try it out and after that I still can decise to buy it or not. But I think, that it's going to help my dry hair and also the very, very dry ends of my hair...

4, Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 by Kiehl's (size: 30 ml)
This moisturizer contains vitamin A and also includes SPF 15, which sounds nice. Unitl now, I have never tried the Kiehl's skin products, but there always is a first time and I think, that I'm going to use it as a day cream, before putting on my foundation, mainly beacause of the SPF.

5, Aromatherapy Mandarin and Orange Body Milk by Styx Natural Cosmetics (size: 30ml)
Of this brand, I also have never heard anything, but the product sounds great and also the smell is amazing. It's just perfect to use on such rainy, chilly and cold days during winter time.

home, sweet home....

This weekend I mainly stayed at home and relaxed....the weather in Vienna was rainy, cold and not really nice to get me to go out of the house very often....

I got some cupcakes from Cupcakes Vienna, a cute little store, held almost all in pink, with a very nice atmosphere inside: everyone is eating delicious cupcakes and drinking some coffee or hot chocolate. The cupcakes itself are just delicious ;)
I loooove to go there and pick some up....this time I got the flavours white cocolate, Oreo, cocolate mousse with orange and caramel.

I also got the new Instyle and a new book called 'Heaven, Hell and Mademoiselle' by Harold Carlton. I'm really looking forword to start with it, because it sounds very interesting and funny. It is said to be a mix of 'Sex and the City' and 'The devil wears Prada'....
Well, I'm going to start today and hope that it's written just the way as the bookcover behind....

Further I bought the dvd 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' (finally^^) and watched it...I already knew a makeover with Audrey Tartou and liked it very much, but decided, that I really should see the one and only.
And it was really funny, the character of Holly Golightly is just unique, maybe a bit crazy, but great to watch :) I love the first scene, where she was having breakfast in long evening gown in front of Tiffany's, it's very special, a bit over the top and too much but really cheerful.

All in all it was a very nice weekend, just relaxing after a very exhausting week, but I still was studying something....

Beauty Haul # 2 : The Body Shop and Marionnaud

A few days ago I went to the Body Shop with a friend of mine, because first, we didn't want to study, second, I needed a new body butter and third, there is still sale.

There was sale and I really, really needed a body butter, since my skin gets very dry in the winter. I use body butter this cold season much more often then in summer. I always use it after taking a bath or showering in the evening. Because it is so rich and mousturizing I just use it this time of the day, that way it can soke into my skin very well and I'm not sticky througout the whole day. During the day I normally use a normal body cream or body lotion, such as the watermelon one, also from the Body Shop or the Prada Candy bodylotion. Well I love sweet scents ;)

I  got not one, not two, but three body butters: I got one in blueberry, another one in passionfruit and the last one in lychee blossom. All three are very fruity, sweet and sugary. The lychee one is already perfect for spring (Yes, I can't wait for spring to come up!) and the other ones I'm going to try, when used the one I still have up.

Then I went to Marionnaud and there I bought a body scrub, because I also run low in mine. I got it from the Marionnaud brand and it's in the scent orcid, which is very insteresting for me, since I have never had any beauty item with this scent and I'm already really excited about trying it out ;)

Fashion trend coming up this spring/summer season

Sorbet colours

For this season light, happy and pastel colours are coming up again. Everything is very fresh and light and the materials are soft, silky and also a little bit sheer. Mainly there are blouses and skirts in fine materials, which can be combined perfectly.
Everything from a subtle pistachio to a creamy vanilla or a very light raspberry pink.
Well I think, that it looks really yummy and I always want to have some macrons or an ice cream after seeing these colours ;)

But not only fashion is following this very divine, fairy, classy and almost innocent look. Also many make-up brands, such as Chanel or Dior are following this trend with various nailpolishes and lots of other items,  such as blushes or eyeshadows.

Review # 2 : The Body Shop banana shampoo and conditioner

Last week I purchased the banana conditioner from The Body Shop. I'm already using the shampoo for some time and really like it. Your hair looks healthy and really shiny after washing your hair with it. I used it with another conditioner from the hairdresser's for some time, but since there is sale at the Body Shop now, I also decided to try out the conditioner, and I tought for this low price I can't go wrong to try out something new.

And I was right, the shampoo and conditioner are perfect for the use together. They let your look really healthy, shiny and very smooth. You can comb through it very well and I won't tangle that fast anymore.

When you're washing your hair, the shampoo as well conditioner have a really 'bananay' smell, but after washing it out, the smell leaves and there stays all most no scent in your hair.
This may be positive or even negativ for some of you, but for me it's ok, because I like the smell during washing, but I think, that it shouldn't stay in your hair for longer.

Both are not very pricy, I think they are about 5 Euro each and on sale even less. This shampoo can used by all hair types.

Summed up, shampoo and conditioner are a very good combination for my hair. And I'm going to purchase another bottle each, after using them up ;)

Make up Haul # 1 : Prada, Agent Provocateur and Chanel

Today I went a bit shopping and purchased two really great perfum boxes at the perfumery Marionnaud: one from Prada and another one from Agent Provocateur. And the best thing about it was, that they were both 50 % off, because of wintersale.
well lucky me ;))

First of all to the Prada box:

It included:
the Prada Candy perfum (size:50ml) and
the body lotion (size:75ml)

The Prada Candy perfum has  mostly the scents of white musk as well as lots of caramel. But it also smells a little bit orientalic and it has  included a really sweet scent like candy or even cotton candy, which I personally adore. It's for all those, who like to be on the sweet side of life or perfum, a little bit fruity, but mostly sweet.
It maybe can be compared a little bit with the Miss Dior Cherie, wich also has a little bit of a caramelic popcorn scent.
All in all a very happy and sweet scent to cheer me up ;)

The bodylotion, which came with it in the box, has also the same scent and it's just perfect for using before the perfum. It has a very creamy and smooth texture.

Now to the Agent Provocateur box:

This box included following items:
the Agent Provocateur perfum (size:50ml),
the Agent Provocateur Body Glamour body lotion (size:50ml)
the Agent Provocateur Bathing Bubble Wash (size:50ml)

I'm gonna start again with the perfume: It has a really great scent, a little bit fruity but also a more spicy and strong scent. It's not to strong for a every day scent, it's just perfect for those, who have enough confidence to wear such a scent the day over.
This sort of spicy scent is composed  mostly by the  Russian coriander, Virginia-ceder and amber.
The smell is a little bit provocative, but also classy and with some esprit. It's the typical Agent Provocatur scent: classy and fabulous.

The bodylotion and the bodywasch have the same scent and are again perfect for use before spraying on the lovely perfum. The lotion has a great smoothness and not sticky texture and the wash I still have to try out...

I personally like perfumed bodylotions and that's why I 'm going to have great fun with the perfums as well the bodylotions ;)

My last purchase this day was the Rouge Coco Shine lipstick.

I already know the Coco Mademoiselle ones and wanted to try out the Rouge Coco Shine for a long time. I purchased the colour Fetiche, which is a rather light pink for every day, but not too light, because very light tones don't suit me. I'm totally amazed by the great texture: It's very shimmering, but also gives a great colour. It's just the right amout of colour and that way your lips can show through a little bit. The best way to describe it, is to say, that it is something between a normal Chanel lipstick and a lipgloss. This one is just perfect for enough colour and also a bit shine for every day!

Review # 1 : Dior Glow Lip Balm

Recently I purchased the Dior Glow Lip Balm with very high excpectations.
First of all I fell in love with the great packaging, it looks very similar to the Dior addict lipsticks, of which I'm a really big fan and they were the actual reason, why I purcased the lip balm. I'm already really postive about the texture and the way your lips get hydrated with the addict lipsticks. Then I said myselfy, why not try out the lipbalm?

Well I was really suprised about it, it really kept my very high expectations:
The texture is great, it mousturizes your lips really well and after applying it, it takes all the warmth of your lips and lets them glow in a really healthy looking pink (no it's not sheer). But the colour always depends on your lipcolour and can be different from person to person.

The only minus is, that it is or can seem very pricy for a lipbalm, because it costs as much as one of the  Dior lipsticks. But I decided that it was worth it.

All in all this is for me a great product, because of hydration, colour and packaging (yes, I decided also to buy it, because of the great packaging, which I also told the salesassistant and she was like: 'Of course darling, it's Dior, what were you expecting?')

Glossybox December 2011

Today I received my first Glossybox ;)

For those, who don't know, what this is: It's sort of a beauty subscription. You order it once and get a small box with four or five - not full size, but also not sample size - beauty samples.

I know, it's the one from December, but in Austria the first one came out in December and I ordered it during my vacation...

Today the postman brought it and I couldn't have been happier to receive it, since it already has come out in Germany in spring and I hate waiting for such things...
Well, now it's here and I was really excited opening the beautifully packed box....

Then I unpacked the box...

It included five beauty samples as well as a discription of the products.

Items included:

  • Valentina perfum from Valentino
           size: 4ml

  • Hydra lift yeux eye cream by Maria Galland
          size: 5ml

  • Awapuhi shampoo by Paul Mitchell
          size: 50ml

  • Glossy liplite lipgloss by Barbor (I'm really excited about this one ;) )
          size: fullsize
  • Biosource Eau Auto-Moussante (this one and the shampoo so far, are great for travelling)
          size: 50ml

Since I got it today, I'm gonna try out the products as soon as possible and write reviews about my loves and likes!

See you soon!
